Quick Weekend Project

The baby is going to be born on Thursday (via C-section), and she needed a gift.

Pattern: A Gelderland Baby Hat to Knit, Pieceworks May/June 2010
Yarn: 1 skein Manderine Petite cotton - leftover from a project that I did 7 years ago!
Needles: Knit Picks Harmony DPN's 3.0mm
Knit: June 13 and 14, 2010

I gave it to Mama today, and she loved it! The girls also loved it...and are trying to convince me to make them their own hats....

Well, gee, maybe you better get busy ;) It's so neat that they like hand-knit things. Not everyone does!

I have very fond memories of a cloth bonnet that matched my grandmother's.
