When Last We Saw Them...

The children were getting ready to take a nap in the newly-pitched tent in Grandma and Grampa's back yard, and were looking forward to another week on the farm.
We hadn't intended to leave them there this week, but they've grown remarkably adept at lobbying to stay with their Grands.
I called my parents when we got home. Mom was heading out the door for a grocery run, to include marshmallows for tonight's camping excursion in the back yard. My little one had taken a two-hour nap in the tent, with Grampa working right outside to keep an eye on her. My eldest was writing out a list of things to do.
Both girls were thrilled to get rid of their parents so that they could be better spoiled this week!

There is NOTHING, and I mean NOTHING better than time at the grandparents' farm. I still miss mine.
