A Frogging We Will Go

Alas, poor little Akimbo...you are no more.

Why?
Check out this picture for scale.
You know that little voice in your head that whispers...this might not be right? Turns out it's usually right. It would have been a great shawl for the Pixie...but that's not what I wanted. Interstingly enough, I waited until I had less than 15 rows to go before I decided I just might want to check this out.....
I absolutely adore the color combo, and I love Stephen West's patterns. Oddly, I have yet to finish one, though, and I doubt I'll start this one over any time soon.
Hmmmm........

Can you rip back the green and keep adding the purple until it's a size you like? It looks like you have a lot of yarn left to keep adding on and a lot of shawls can be made bigger by adding more pattern repeats. Don't give up! And its' funny, but I'm making a purple garter stitch shawl that looks like it's going to be as much as 10 in too short and I'm trying to find some green that'll go with it. Good luck!

That's really odd! As Alissia pointed out, you have a lot of the main color left over. I had only a very small ball of my mc left - and we were using the same yarn. Don't give up yet, it's such a fun scarf to wear!

Your smart to stop when that little voice says "what?". You could keep the purple and forgo the green.
I love the colors on this!!! You have such an amazing talent.
