Knitting Selfishly

We've talked about this before...

 

...my thing with sweaters, and how I'd love to make them for myself but just don't.

 

We've talked about how I can fit anyone and everyone else, but have trouble with my own body.

 

We've talked about how I tend to fill up my workbasket with gifts for everyone else.

 

Maybe we've even talked about that four page wish list I have - patterns pulled from my extensive library of books and magazines.

 

I know we've talked about the fact that I put myself last, and as a consequence my wardrobe is...ahem...pretty bad.

 

Well, this is the year.

 

This is the year I get over myself and start knitting for myself.

 

And I've started with this gem.
