Celebrations

Today our Gillian performed in her piano recital with great poise.

 We have been allowing her to progress at her own pace - without much interference from us on whether or not she practices.  Why?  She works SOOOoooo hard at school on being perfect all of the time that we don't want to force her extracurriculars.  Instead, so long as she's learning (even at a slower pace) and is having fun than we are happy.

We also finally had Tanith's birthday party with four of her grandparents and her great-grandma.

 And my oh my, did she ever have fun!  Life is indeed very good when you are six!
