2009 Word of the Year
I'm not entirely sure of where I first heard about the idea of focusing on a single word for the year. (I think perhaps it was through the Creative Mom podcast.) The idea stuck, though, and on January 1 of 2008 I found myself declaring a word for myself.
That word was:
POSSIBILITY!
It was a word that served me well, and has made me happy.
As with last year's word, this year's word just sort of came to me...and it has stuck. So, in 2009 I will be focusing on the word:
PLEASURE!
I mean it in the fullest sense - to seek pleasure and enjoyment in all I do, be it work, play, responsibilities, family, friends, exercise, food, creativity....you get the idea!
